Rep. Justin Amash( L-Mich.) stated that he was dropping out of the 2020 governmental race on Saturday, less than 3 weeks after he announced his surprise quote.
” I’ve invested almost three weeks assessing the race, appearing in media, speaking to delegates and donors, seeing the Libertarian Celebration’s convention strategy unfold, and event feedback from family, buddies, and other advisors,” Amash tweeted.
” After much reflection, I’ve concluded that scenarios don’t lend themselves to my success as a prospect for president this year, and for that reason I will not be a candidate,” he said.
