A recent case of such modification has come from Kaithal district of Haryana. You will be shocked to hear about it. According to the information, the traffic police stopped a Thar jeep wearing a 24 inch wide tire and issued a challan. A challan of Rs 23 thousand was issued for the modified Thar and the vehicle was impounded. Because there were no documents of the vehicle at the spot. Also, the car was modified against traffic rules. The car had tires about two feet wide.

On the front and back, powerful caste-indicative words were written in bold letters. Apart from this, many such things were installed which were against the traffic rules. Vehicle seized after challan
Actually, when the police searched the records, it was found that it was a 19 year old Bolero. The Bolero vehicle met with an accident in Dabwali city, after which it was sold for scrap. Bolero was bought from scrapyard and modified into the new Thar. At present the vehicle has been challaned and seized.
Traffic DSP Sushil Prakash said that a modified Thar jeep was impounded with a challan of Rs 23 thousand. But when the records were searched, it turned out to be a 19 year old Bolero vehicle. Which was modified after the accident to become Thar jeep. Traffic DSP also said that the vehicles or bikes that come from the agency are made as per the standards of traffic rules, but getting them modified is completely against the traffic rules, for which we will continue to issue challans.
