WASHINGTON (AP)– U.S. authorities on Wednesday jailed a former Green Beret and his child who are implicated of helping previous Nissan Motor Co. Chairman Carlos Ghosn run away Japan while he awaited trial on financial misbehavior charges.
Justice Department spokesperson Nicole Navas stated Michael Taylor, 59, and Peter Taylor, 27, were apprehended by the U.S. Marshals Service in Harvard, Massachusetts.
The two Americans are desired by Japan authorities on charges that they helped Ghosn escape the country in December after the previous Nissan manager was launched on bail.
