Leading epidemiologist Dr. Anthony Fauci, a member of the White Home’s coronavirus task force, exposed in a radio interview Tuesday that he has not spoken with President Donald Trump in two weeks– regardless of increasing varieties of COVID-19 cases in several states.
Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Transmittable Diseases, was during the earlier months of the ongoing crisis a regular figure alongside Trump in the White House’s daily telecasted coronavirus instructions.
However he informed NPR’s “1A” program that the last time he had actually talked with Trump was “2 weeks ago” about “our vaccine advancement effort.”
Before that, Fauci said in early June that he had actually also gone 2 weeks without talking with the president.
