President Donald Trump on Sunday agreed that he still holds a grudge against Sen. Mitt Romney(R-Utah.) after he was inquired about the senator’s exemption from the congressional coronavirus task force for resuming the U.S. economy.
Romney, a long time businessman and one-time Republican candidate for president, was the only GOP senator not welcomed to sign up with the bipartisan committee of legislators tasked with opening back up the country, the members of which were announced by the White Home on Thursday. Earlier this year, he was the sole Republican politician to vote to found guilty Trump for abuse of power during the Senate impeachment trial.
” Yeah, it does,” Trump informed a reporter during a White Home press instruction Sunday when asked if Romney’s exclusion from the job force implied he continued to hold an animosity versus the senator.
