Wedding events are the 2nd biggest intake classification in India. “Weddings, if they were a classification, would rank as the 2nd biggest retail classification just behind food and grocery ($681 billion),” it stated. Wedding events in India are sophisticated and characterised by a series of events and costs. The market stimulates intake in classifications like jewellery and clothing and indirectly advantages cars and electronic devices. Regardless of political efforts to suppress them, high-end wedding events at unique areas continue to display Indian luxury. “With 8 million to 10 million wedding events held every year, India is the biggest wedding event location worldwide. Approximated at $130 billion in size, according to CAIT, the wedding event market is almost two times that of the U.S. and is an essential big factor to essential usage classifications,” Jeferries stated.
