Hundreds Protest George Floyd’s Death In Minneapolis

Numerous people took to the streets of Minneapolis on Tuesday evening to object police violence in the wake of the death of George Floyd, a Black guy who passed away after a white policeman knelt on his neck.

Crowds gathered near the area where a bystander’s now-viral video caught Floyd on Monday being held face-down by a Minneapolis policeman, who kept his knee on Floyd’s neck as he pleaded, ” I can’t breathe.” Demonstrators– most wearing masks, following requests from organizers based upon assistance to avoid the spread of coronavirus– then marched towards a cops precinct.
