Indian female, small kid handed over to BSF after release from prison for unlawfully getting in Pak: authorities

LAHORE: An Indian lady and her small boy, both victims of human trafficking, were turned over to Indian forces at the Wagah border after they finished their sentence for unlawfully going into Pakistan in 2015, a Pakistani authorities stated on Thursday. Wahida Begum and her small child Faiz Khan were launched from a prison in Quetta, Balochistan province after they finished their prison term and turned over to the Border Security Force at the Wagah border crossing on Wednesday. According to federal government authorities, Wahida, a local of Nagaon district in Assam, was jailed together with her boy while unlawfully getting in Pakistan from Afghanistan by means of the Chaman border in 2015. Wahida informed the authorities here that she had actually been tricked by an Indian travel representative due to which she reached Pakistan. “After the death of my hubby in 2022, I chose to take my child to Canada. For this function, I offered my residential or commercial property and paid a large amount of cash to an Indian representative,” she stated in her declaration to cops in Pakistan.
