LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP)– Cops in Kentucky on Sunday determined a guy who was fatally shot amidst a protest over the killing of Breonna Taylor.
Tyler Charles Gerth, 27, of Louisville, passed away of a gunshot wound Saturday night, the Jefferson County coroner’s office stated in a press release.
Reports of shots fired at Jefferson Square Park in downtown Louisville can be found in around 9 p.m., Louisville Metro cops stated in a declaration. A second shooting victim was found across the street. That individual was hospitalized with injuries that were not dangerous.
Video published on social networks appeared to show a guy opening fire into the park as people scrambled for cover. The video footage later on revealed a minimum of one person bleeding a lot on the ground.
Officers cleared the park and police “are trying to gather as much information as possible in order to identify all who were associated with the event,”
