Manik Saha to take oath as Tripura CM in existence of PM Narendra Modi today

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Manik Saha, a dentist-turned-politician who guided the celebration to power in Tripura, will be taking oath as the Chief Minister of the state for the 2nd successive term today. The oath event will happen at Vivekananda Maidan in Agartala, and will be participated in by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP chief JP Nadda, and a number of CMs of BJP-ruled states. Manik Saha, who led BJP to success, is an oral cosmetic surgeon who signed up with the BJP in 2016 after giving up Congress. He was made celebration chief of the state in 2020 and chosen to Rajya Sabha in March 2022. He was BJP MP till the modification of guard occurred in 2015. In 2022, Saha changed Biplab Kumar Deb to guide the celebration in the Assembly surveys in the middle of a multi-cornered contest in the northeast state. Previously on Monday, Chief Minister-designate Manik Saha gotten in touch with Governor Satyadeo Narain Arya to stake claim to form the federal government in the Northeast state.
