More Than 40 Million Americans Have Sought Jobless Aid In The Middle Of Pandemic

WASHINGTON (AP)– Approximately 2.1 million people applied for U.S. unemployment benefits recently, an indication that companies are still slashing jobs in the face of a deep economic downturn even as more organisations reopen and rehire some laid-off workers.

About 41 million people have now gotten help considering that the infection outbreak intensified in March, though not all of them are still out of work.
