The Atlanta law enforcement officer who fatally shot Rayshard Brooks, a Black guy, has been charged with felony murder.
Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard announced on Wednesday that now-former officer Garrett Rolfe would be charged with 11 counts, consisting of felony murder and 3 counts of worsened assault.
” We concluded and considered it that Mr. Brooks never presented himself as a risk” during the 41 minutes that he spoke to Rolfe and another police, Howard said.

Last Friday, police found Brooks, 27, oversleeping his vehicle, which was obstructing a Wendy’s drive-thru. Body cam video of the of
