Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) will self-quarantine at his home in Tennessee for 14 days after an employee tested favorable for COVID-19 He’s the current lawmaker affected as coronavirus reaches into the fortress of power throughout Washington D.C.
” Senator Alexander has no signs and evaluated unfavorable for COVID-19 on Thursday afternoon,” Alexander’s chief of staff said in a statement on Sunday. “After discussing this with the Senate’s participating in doctor, Senator Alexander, out of an abundance of caution, has chosen not to go back to Washington D.C., and will self-quarantine.”
