ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP)– Coronavirus cases in Florida surpassed 100,000 on Monday, part of a worrying rise throughout the South and West as states reopen for company and many Americans resist using masks or keeping their distance from others.
The troubling check in the Sunshine State in addition to locations like Arizona, Alabama, Texas and South Carolina– along with nations such as Brazil, India and Pakistan– are raising worries that the development won after months of lockdowns is escaping.
