In an obvious jab at Sessions, Trump called Tuberville a “REAL LEADER” who would never let the Trump administration and coalition down.
Tuberville responded on Twitter by stating he’s “eagerly anticipating assisting you drain pipes the overload and #KAG,” a referral to the president’s 2020 “Keep America Great” project.

Sessions, a senator for twenty years before joining the Trump administration, was the very first senator to back the now-president. However Trump constantly lashed out at Sessions during his less than 2 years as chief law officer, calling him an “humiliation” and considering the Justice Department a “disaster” under his leadership.
