WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump will suspend the entry of particular foreign employees, a senior administration official stated on Monday, a move the authorities stated would help the economy, but which business groups strongly oppose.
Trump will obstruct the entry of foreign workers on H-1B visas for knowledgeable workers and L-1 visas for employees being transferred within a company through completion of the year, the official said.
