President Donald Trump on Sunday said the U.S. will designate anti-fascist protesters known as antifa as a terrorist company in the middle of nationwide demonstrations over the current death of unarmed Black male George Floyd while in Minneapolis cops custody.
Trump, who revealed his intents on Twitter, blamed “extreme left anarchists,” as well as the media, for stirring up problem in numerous cities and prompted local leaders to shut their demonstrations down “prior to it is far too late!”

The protesters had “little to do with the memory of George Floyd,” Trump stated, including that they “were simply there to trigger problem.”
An American Civil Liberties Union official, responding to Trump’s terrorism call for antifa on Sunday, called it “abused and misused.”
