President Donald Trump apparently expects Secretary of State Mike Pompeo‘s spouse to clean the meals in the Pompeo home, he suggested at his press instruction Monday.
And when his family isn’t around, it’s apparently OKAY for Pompeo to utilize taxpayer-funded federal workers– consisting of the Secret Service– to do his domestic tasks, Trump stated.
” Now I have you informing me about pet walking, washing dishes. And you know what? I ‘d rather have him [Pompeo] on the phone with some world leader than have him clean meals since perhaps his spouse isn’t there or his kids aren’t there … it’s so dumb,” Trump stated.
Trump called Pompeo a “top quality individual” and a “fantastic man,” and stated he didn’t see anything incorrect with the secretary of state asking a “Secret Service individual or someone” to walk his dog.
” Perhaps he’s busy,” Trump said prior to picturing a discussion Pompeo might have with an officer: “I’m speaking to Kim Jong Un … Please stroll my canine.”
