President Donald Trump turned his day-to-day White Home coronavirus rundown on Monday into a full-fledged propaganda campaign, attempting to reword history on his pandemic action with a low-grade video that paints him in a favorable light.
The president had what might objectively be called a disaster in the first half of the briefing, criticizing the news media, and specifically The New york city Times, for accurately reporting that he was slow to successfully react to the growing pandemic in spite of being cautioned early on by several assistants and health professionals about the requirement for aggressive action.
Prior to offering actual updates on the current details about the infection, Trump shocked press reporters by having the rundown room’s lights dimmed to reveal a video that started with a slide titled: “The Media Minimized the Danger From the Start.”
The propaganda video revealed numerous cable television reels of reporters and TELEVISION hosts downplaying the infection’s threat in January and early February.

The video then consisted of audio of Times press reporter Maggie Haberman, in which she said that Trump was widely criticized for stopping flights from China in an attempt to slow the spread of the virus. Haberman clarified on Twitter that the video’s usage of the audio was “misleading” due to the fact that she had actually gone on to say that Trump “dealt with that travel restriction as an Objective Accomplished minute.”
