UFC releases Anderson Silva from his agreement

.
Thursday marked the end of a period, as former UFC middleweight kingpin Anderson Silva was launched from his agreement.

Silva retired following his loss to Uriah Hall at UFC Vegas 12 recently, however he left the door open a fracture. UFC president Dana White, however, knocked the door shut, a minimum of the door to the Octagon.

” It is extremely difficult for us to stop, but today is the final day. I am so happy to be here and doing my last program for my fans here in UFC,” Silva stated in his post-fight interview with Michael Bisping.

But even then he might have had plans beyond the UFC. When Bisping tried to validate that we had actually all just experienced the final mixed martial arts bout of his career, Silva hedged his bet.

It’s hard for say it’s my last or not because this is my air. Let’s see.”.

In his comments after Silva’s last battle in the Octagon, White was adamant that he had actually slipped up in letting Silva battle again and stated in no unpredictable terms that the previous UFC middleweight champ would not fight for him once again.

” Look at Anderson. I made a big error and I shouldn’t have let him fight this battle tonight,” White stated.

” He’s a legend of this sport and he’s a legend of this company, and I did something I disagreed with. I knew I was right, and tonight proved I was right, and Anderson Silva must never ever combat once again.

” I do not feel excellent about myself that I let Anderson Silva battle this last fight.”.

White certainly made it last, at least in concerns to the UFC. With Silva being launched from his contract according to Mixed Martial Arts Battling, even if Silva chooses to eliminate once again, it won’t be under the banner where he invested his last 14 years.
