White Home Press Secretary Defends Trump’s Joe Scarborough Claims

White Home press secretary Kayleigh McEnany safeguarded President Donald Trump‘s pressing of a conspiracy theory about Joe Scarborough on Tuesday and motivated reporters to pursue the MSNBC host, too.

McEnany dealt with numerous questions about Trump’s posting of a series of tweets Sunday and Tuesday that strongly implied Scarborough killed Lori Klausutis, who worked for him when he was a Republican congressman. She was found dead in his Florida workplace in 2001 while he remained in Washington. The reason for her death was identified to be an undiagnosed heart condition, which caused her to collapse and struck her head.

When a press reporter noted that Klausutis’s hubby was pleading with Twitter to remove Trump’s tweets due to the fact that of the discomfort they were causing, McEnany fired off a claim that Scarborough once joked about eliminating her with the late radio host Don Imus.

” I would note that the president stated today that this is not an original Trump thought. … In reality, in 2003 on Don Imus’ program, it was Don Imus and Joe Scarborough that joked about eliminating an intern, joked and chuckled about it, so that was, I’m sure, quite upsetting to Lori’s family, and Joe Scarborough himself brought this up with Don Imus.”
