Minister for Cooperation S.T. Somashekar on Monday acknowledged Kodagu’s cooperative banks had been impressive of their efficiency as mortgage compensation by borrowers in these institutions became almost 99 per cent and they had been among the many Notify’s top cooperative institutions where mortgage compensation became outstanding.
As many as 10 cooperative institutions in Kodagu had accomplished 100 years of their companies and products and every such institution within the district had a mettlesome epic in mortgage compensation, he added.
Speaking after inaugurating the centenary celebrations of Kushalnagar PLD Financial institution in Kushalnagar, he acknowledged 21 DCC banks within the Notify had been in profit and added that the Notify had 5,477 PLD Banks.
