Apart from Hamas in Gaza, Israel is also fighting Hezbollah in Lebanon. The Israeli army on Tuesday attacked a Hezbollah commander in the Lebanese capital Beirut. The IDF argued behind this attack that the Hezbollah commander was responsible for the attack in the Golan Heights. 12 Israeli children were killed in this attack. An Israeli official said that the target was Fuad Shukur, a top military commander of Hezbollah, who is accused by the US of planning and launching the deadly Marine bombing in the Lebanese capital in 1983. The official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that Shukur is also suspected of other attacks that killed Israeli civilians. 3 people were killed in the Israeli attack, while 74 people are reported to be injured.
Meanwhile, according to Reuters, an eyewitness said that a loud explosion was heard and a cloud of smoke was seen rising in the stronghold of the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah.

As soon as he arrived, he called an important meeting of the security cabinet in Tel Aviv to open a front against Hezbollah. In this meeting, Prime Minister Netanyahu decided to take major action against Hezbollah and also warned it to pay a heavy price.
12 children lost their lives in Hezbollah’s attack
Last week on Saturday evening, Hezbollah fighters launched an airstrike with rockets on a football field in Golan, killing 12 children and injuring 20 people. Israel directly blamed Hezbollah for this attack. However, Hezbollah has completely rejected these allegations.
