15 arrested including main suspect
In this case, the police have arrested 15 people including the main suspect Nandu Paswan, there is panic among the people living in the village Krishna Nagar across the river and Nawada police is now conducting simultaneous raids to catch the criminals. Meanwhile, security has been beefed up in the area and senior police officers are camping in the village. Preliminary investigation found that this incident stemmed from a land dispute. According to eyewitnesses, the land mafia of nearby village Pran Bigha also fired several rounds. After this incident, many houses are lying vacant because the walls are covered with soot and smoke is coming out from the debris.
