The case of Shiv Temple, which was closed for 46 years in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, is still in discussion, but now a similar case has come to light from Varanasi also. It is being claimed that a Shiva temple has been closed for 10 years in a Muslim dominated area. A letter has been given to the police administration regarding the opening of this temple, after which police force has been deployed in the area.
The Muslim-dominated area of Varanasi, Madanpura, where the temple is said to be located, comes under Dashashwamedh police station area. After the picture of the closed ‘temple’ went viral on social media, an application has been given to the police on behalf of Sanatan Rakshak Dal. In this letter, a demand has been made to reopen the temple.

Demand to open the temple by writing a letter
It is being told that the temple is located near the platform of house number D-31 of Madanpura. The lock on this temple has been hanging for the last decade. Many posts regarding this had gone viral on social media. After which Sanatan Rakshak Dal state president Ajay Sharma has written a letter to the police demanding opening the lock of the temple.

Claim of mud inside the temple
After receiving the letter regarding the temple, a police team reached the spot, which after investigation has deployed police force. It is being claimed that this temple is about two hundred and fifty years old, but due to the temple being locked for the last decade, it is closed. It is being told that the inside of the temple is filled with soil.

Efforts to establish ownership started
It is also being claimed that this temple is mentioned in Kashi section. South of Pushpadanteshwar is the temple of Param Siddhipradha Siddhishwar, near which there is also Siddhatirtha well. However, in the police investigation so far, it has not been possible to find out who owns the temple and who locked the temple? It is also being investigated as to when this lock was installed.
