First Girl Maesaiah Thabane handed herself in to be questioned by authorities in the southern African mountain kingdom.
His separated spouse, Lipolelo Thabane, was shot dead outside her house in the capital Maseru 2 days prior to his inauguration in 2017.
Authorities Commissioner Holomo Molibeli informed the BBC that she was being held in custody and would be officially charged in court on Wednesday.
