The Bombay High Court quashed the look-out circulars (LOCs) that were released versus Rhea Chakraborty, her bro Showik Chakraborty, and their daddy Indrajit, who is an army veteran, in connection to the Sushant Singh Rajput case. Based on a report in Live Law India, the court inspected the Central Bureau of Investigation’s reasoning, challenging the automated issuance of LOCs upon FIR registration. The order was revealed by Justice Revati Mohite Dere and Manjusha Deshpande.

Based on a report in PTI, the Central Bureau of Investigation’s (CBI) plea for a remain on an order dealt with a problem as the High Court bench decreased the demand.
Sushant Singh Rajput was discovered dead at his home in June 2020. Following this, Mumbai authorities began a probe after signing up an Accidental Death report. Rajput’s dad declared abetment to suicide versus Rhea Chakraborty and her household members in Bihar.
Both Rhea Chakraborty and her bro Showik Chakraborty were apprehended by Narcotics Control Bureau in drugs associated case connected to Sushant Singh Rajput in 2020. They were given bail, later on.
Consequently, the CBI took control of the examination, with the issuance of Lookout Circulars (LOCs) versus Rhea Chakraborty, her sibling Showik and her daddy in August 2020. In September 2023, the High Court momentarily suspended the LOC versus Rhea’s sibling, Showik, allowing him to take a trip overseas.
