This Independence Day is going to resemble a gold mine for movie fans as movies of various categories and languages will be launched in movie theaters. In Hindi, there will be a three-way clash in between Stree 2, Vedaa and Khel MeinIn Telugu, 2 huge movies are going to launch on August 15– Ravi Teja-starrer Mr Bachchan and Ram Pothineni-Sanjay Dutt starrer Double iSmartIn this post, Bollywood Hungama will concentrate on the cuts offered to Mr Bachchan by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

The CBFC passed the movie with a U/A certificate. It asked for a number of adjustments. To start with, a disclaimer was included the start that the movie is imaginary and does not bear similarity to anybody or location. A 2-minute-plus scene of a young kid smoking cigarettes a beedi was censored. The beedi was changed with a pencil. A 1-second shot of blood on the flooring was eliminated. In 4 locations, specific words and abuses were silenced or changed.
The makers showed a poster of Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha throughout the rolling titles for the whole period. According to the CBFC’s instruction, this poster was eliminated and changed with a poster of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan.
As soon as these modifications were made, the CBFC passed the movie on August 13, that is, 2 days before its release. The length of the movie, as discussed on the censor certificate, is 158 minutes. Simply put, the run time of Mr Bachchan is 2 hours and 38 minutes.
Mr Bachchan is the main remake of the Ajay Devgn-starrer Raid (2018 ). While Ravi Teja plays the lead character, Jagapathi Babu essays the function of the villain. Bhagyashri Borse, last seen in the Kartik Aaryan-starrer Chandu Champion as Nayantara, is the female lead. Mr Bachchan is directed by Harish Shankar.
