The very first Stree took audiences on a wonderful horror-comedy trip. Embed in a town haunted by a cruel spirit merely called “Stree,” the movie skillfully mixed terrifies with humour, leaving audiences both captivated and a little anxious about venturing out after dark. While plot information stay securely under covers, the trailer launch assures to shed some light on what awaits us in Stree 2
The initial Stree starred Shraddha Kapoor as a tailor called Stree who comes across the town’s trick, Rajkummar Rao as the love interest drawn into the secret, and Pankaj Tripathi as the resident soothsayer. The movie was helmed by Amar Kaushik.
The teaser of Stree 2 was launched in June 2024 as the initial characters set out for yet another scary experience and on an objective to secure Chanderi after a series of demonic incidents, from fiends. They dropped the teaser on social networks together with the tagline, “Iss baar Chanderi mein azaadi ke din hoga aatank!”
