Stamp and cover on Bappi Lahiri to be launched by World Book of Records, London
Overwhelmed by the gesture, Rema Lahiri, child of Bappi Lahiri, stated in a declaration, “My dad was my coach, my instructor, my guide, my strength. He is gone prematurely. It was so unforeseen. We still feel his existence amongst us.”
His grand son Swastik Bansal, included, “I miss out on grandfather. Now I need to take the tradition forward and make him happy. I desire his true blessings constantly.”
CEO of WBR, Santosh Shukla stated, “I have actually understood Bappi da for years. His energy and his interest was constantly infectious. This stamp and cover is our little contribution to the legend.”
Usma Khan rued the truth that they could not do this when Lahir lived. “We wished to honour Bappi da when he was amongst us,” he stated. “It is regrettable that we need to launch it without his physical existence. We are grateful his other half Chitrani Lahiri ji will get it posthumously on his behalf. It is our honour to have actually understood Bappi da and to find out a lot from him.”
