South Korean pop titans BTS’ Jimin is reported to team up with BIGBANG’s Taeyang for the latter’s resurgence solo album, tentatively coming out in January 2023.

As Korean tabloid Soompi notes, it was just recently reported that Jimin would be a highlighted artist on Taeyang’s brand-new solo album, which is apparently set for a January release.

Following the reports, Taeyang’s firm YG Entertainment provided a short action to the reported partnership and mentioned, “We’re presently examining [whether it’s true].” Jimin’s company BigHit Music is yet to discuss the reported cooperation.

Meanwhile, the upcoming album will mark Taeyang’s very first solo release in almost 6 years. Taeyang’s last solo music release remained in 2017, and BIGBANG’S latest release as a group was their 2018 single ” Flower Road.”

Speaking of BTS Jimin’s expert front, he is presently prepping for his solo return as the members revealed in June this year that they will be focusing more on solo tasks while staying active as a group. In October, he reunited with the band to carry out at complimentary in-person performance kept in Busan to promote South Korea’s quote for World Expo 2030.
