TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee knocked BJP MP Paresh Rawal for his remark on Bengalis.
By Suryagni Roy: Trinamool Congress (TMC) nationwide basic secretary Abhishek Banerjee responded to BJP MP Paresh Rawal’s remarks on Bengali and knocked Suvendu Adhikari, the Leader of Opposition in West Bengal for not condemning Rawal’s remarks. “The minute Adhikari demonstrations versus such remarks, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) will send him a notification,” stated Banerjee.
He included that the Opposition leader is “sleeping on the feet of his masters in Delhi”. “Has Suvendu Adhikari for when opposed versus such remarks? He does not have the spinal column to do so,” Banerjee included.

While marketing for the BJP in Gujarat, Paresh Rawal stated, “Gas cylinders are costly however the costs will boil down. Individuals will get work too. What will occur if Rohingya migrants and Bangladeshis begin living around you, like in Delhi? What will you finish with gas cylinders? Prepare fish for the Bengalis?”
He later on provided an explanation and tweeted, “Of course the fish is not the concern as Gujaratis do prepare and consume fish. Let me clarify by Bengali I implied prohibited Bangladeshi n Rohingya. Still if I have actually injured your sensations and beliefs I do apologise.”
Abhishek Banerjee responded to Rawal’s information and stated, “Paresh Rawal stated by Bengali he implies Bangladeshi and Rohingyas. He takes a dig at Bengalis consuming fish. East Midnapore is the center of fishing, more than 2 lakh angler stay here and the BJP is abusing us. Are we Rohingyas?”
On Friday, CPI( M) West Bengal State Secretary Md Salim submitted a cops grievance versus Paresh Rawal over his remark.
