By Jaykishan Sharma: The Congress’ Bharat Jodo Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi resumed from Rajasthan’s Lakheri town in Bundi district on Sunday evening. After attending the swearing in ceremony of Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu as the 15th chief minister of Himachal Pradesh, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, her husband Robert Vadra and their daughter joined the yatra.

People welcomed them by showering flowers along with singing and dancing to folk songs.

Earlier, in the morning, Rahul Gandhi was passing through Dahi Khera village when he went to a house and interacted with an eight-year-old girl who had been living with a deformity. Gandhi called youth affairs and sports minister Ashok Chandna and asked him to treat the girl.
Chandna assured him that she would get the treatment. The girl’s mother said that she is getting treatment in a government hospital in Kota.
Meanwhile, the evening phase of the yatra was delayed by two and a half hours.
