By Apoorva Jayachandran : Telangana Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao on Monday asked for Union Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Puri to authorize Rs 8.4 crore to BHEL for the Lakdikapul city job in Hyderabad.

The city job is being carried out as a joint task of the Union federal government and the federal government of Telangana.

KTR likewise asked for the Union minister include it in the upcoming Union spending plan.

In the letter, KTR asked for the approval of the city line, which is slated to be 26 kilometres long with 23 stations.
