Actually, Chandan Gupta was shot dead during the Tiranga Yatra in Kasganj on 26 January 2018. Today was the day of judgment in this massacre that took place during the Tiranga Yatra. 28 accused involved in this case have been found guilty. Also, two accused have been acquitted. Now tomorrow i.e. on January 3, 2025, the punishment for those found guilty will be announced.
Let us tell you that all the accused were summoned in the NIA court. The accused had filed an application in the High Court regarding the legality of the NIA court and a stay on the hearing. But the Lucknow bench of the High Court had rejected the application of the accused.
