Israel said on Wednesday that eight of its soldiers were killed in southern Lebanon fighting Hezbollah militants after the incursion began. Now the tension between Iran and Israel has increased further. Because Israel has promised to respond to Iran’s ballistic missile attack.

The Israeli military did not provide any details on how its soldiers were killed, but had previously said there was “close” combat with Hezbollah. The clashes followed the second day of Israel’s ground invasion of southern Lebanon.

Israeli army released footage
On Wednesday morning, the Israeli Army released footage of its 36th Division entering Lebanon. Currently, two Israeli divisions are active in southern Lebanon, whose target area is to destroy Hezbollah’s infrastructure.

Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah said its fighters clashed with Israeli forces in at least one Lebanese town, Maroun al-Ras. It is located about a mile from the evacuated Israeli city of Avivim. The militia claimed that it had targeted Avivim with a rocket.

Israel can attack anytime
By attacking Israel, Iran has brought the entire Middle East to the brink of a major war. Meanwhile, Israel’s Army Chief has said that his country can attack anywhere in the Middle East. This statement is very important now because Israel has not given a direct reply to Iran since the attack by Iran on Tuesday night. But after this the fear of a big war has increased. Emergency meeting of G7 called by Italy PM Meloni. G7 countries condemned the attack on Israel by Iran.

The White House then issued a statement saying US President Joe Biden held talks with G7 leaders on Wednesday, including coordination on new sanctions in response to Iran’s attack on Israel. Biden said he would not support attacks on Iranian nuclear sites, as Israel has promised to respond to a ballistic missile attack. He also talked about imposing more sanctions on Iran.
