Air hostess was in depression due to not getting job, she died by jumping from the fourth floor

An air hostess committed suicide by jumping from the terrace in Kolkata. She was in depression due to not getting a job for a long time. She lived in the Metropolitan Co-operative Housing Society of Kolkata’s Pragati Maidan police station area.

Significantly, Debopriya Biswas (27 years) was an air hostess by profession. At around 4 o’clock on Saturday, he tried to commit suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of his sister’s house. She fell on the road in front of the house and was seriously injured. He was hurriedly taken to SSKM Medical College and Hospital.

The victim’s family told that she was treated at the hospital but she died shortly after. After getting the information from the hospital, the local police station reached and started the investigation.

Police said that after a lot of questioning with the family members, it has come to know that she was in depression for a long time due to not getting regular work for the last two years. A case has been registered in this regard at Pragati Maidan police station. Along with this, the police is probing all aspects.
