Ayodhya: Ram temple construction work on pace, work to be completed by December or Makar Sankranti

The construction work of the Ram temple being built in Ayodhya is going on at a fast pace. The work on the second floor of the temple has gained momentum. December or Makar Sankranti has been targeted to complete the construction work of Ram temple. On January 22 this year, Lord Ramlala’s life was consecrated in Ram temple.

The work on the second floor of Ram temple in Ayodhya is progressing rapidly. Besides, the wall work is also being completed. Let us tell you that Ram Janmabhoomi Trust has set a target to complete the construction of the temple by the end of December this year or by Makar Sankranti in January.

Number of tourists increased rapidly in UP

Uttar Pradesh has set a new record in the number of tourists after the consecration of Ram Lalla in the grand temple being built at the Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya. After the inauguration of the temple in January, Ayodhya tourism has become the new hotspot for devotees. There has been a tremendous increase in the number of tourists arriving here. In the first six months of the year alone, 11 crore tourists reached Ayodhya.

11 crore tourists reached Ayodhya

While releasing the data, Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department said that in the first half of the year 2024, maximum number of tourists have reached Ayodhya in the state. This number is around 11 crores. According to the information received from the department, in the first six months, 10 crore 99 lakh 69 thousand 702 domestic and 2,851 foreign tourists i.e. a total of 10 crore 99 lakh 72 thousand 553 (about 11 crore) tourists have reached Ayodhya. Earlier, Varanasi was at number one in terms of number of tourists.

About 33 crore tourists reached UP

There has been a lot of increase in the number of tourists in Uttar Pradesh this year. The reason for this is also Ayodhya. In the first six months of the year itself, 32 crore 98 lakh 18 thousand tourists have reached UP. This includes 32 crore 87 lakh 81 thousand domestic tourists and 10 lakh 36 thousand 774 foreign tourists, whereas if compared with the figures of 2022, the number of tourists recorded in the state was 31 crore 86 lakh in the entire year.
