BJP's record victory in Gujarat, Himachal's support in hand and Dimple won in Mainpuri

The results of Gujarat and Himachal assembly were announced on Thursday, 8 December. Along with this, the results of the by-elections held on 6 assembly seats in 5 states and one Lok Sabha seat also came on this day. This time in Gujarat BJP has done what it has never done in any other state before. On the other hand, in Himachal, the people have maintained the custom of changing the rule in the state in their decision. Whereas in the by-elections somewhere BJP and somewhere Congress and RLD won.

In fact, along with the big victory in Gujarat, the BJP broke many records, created many records. BJP has broken its previous record of winning 127 seats in 2002. BJP has created a record of 7th consecutive victory in Gujarat and has equaled the 32 years rule of Left in Bengal. This time, out of 182 seats in Gujarat, BJP has won 156 seats, while Congress has won 17 seats, Aam Aadmi Party 5 and others four.

On the other hand, after the assembly elections in the hill state of Himachal Pradesh, the biggest question was whether the political mood of this state would change. Will BJP get a chance to form the government for the second consecutive time? But the people in their decision changed the rule of the state and maintained the custom. Along with this, the Congress party, which is considered to be in crisis on the political plane of the country, has got the lifeblood of victory. Out of 68 seats in Himachal, Congress has won 40, BJP 25 and others 3 seats, while Aam Aadmi Party could not even open its account here.

BJP’s biggest victory in the history of Gujarat

BJP had never got such a big victory in Gujarat before. If we look at the figures of BJP in Gujarat after 1995, then this victory will be seen as a rout. In 1995 BJP got 121 seats. In 1998, 117, in 2002, under the leadership of PM Modi, BJP registered a record victory with 127 seats. But in 2007 and 2012 the figure decreased again. BJP got 117 seats in 2007 and 115 in 2012. Due to the effect of Patidar movement, BJP came down to 99 seats in 2017. But this time by crossing the figure of 150, the BJP also broke the record of 1985 in Gujarat, when the Congress got 149 seats.

Question about CM face in Himachal

After the victory of Congress in Himachal, two biggest questions are arising. The first is that on whose head will the crown of victory be tied. Who will get the post of CM in Himachal. Because only after the voting on November 12, the race for the post of CM of Himachal started in Delhi. Now after the victory, everyone’s eyes are fixed on the meeting of the Legislature Party and the decision of the high command. Along with this, another question is resonating in the political atmosphere of Himachal whether after the victory of Congress, there will be politics of sabotage in Himachal too. Will BJP make any such effort to form the government? This discussion arose from the statement of Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel, who talked about saving his MLAs from BJP.

Dimple’s wonder in Mainpuri, SP continues to shine

The by-election for Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat was the most talked about. Here, after the death of Mulayam Singh Yadav, Dimple Yadav was contesting from the Samajwadi Party. Dimple got bumper support in this seat. Dimple Yadav defeated BJP candidate Raghuraj Shakya with a huge margin of about 2 lakh 88 thousand votes. Here Dimple got 6 lakh 18 thousand 120 votes, while BJP candidate Raghuraj Singh Shakya got 3 lakh 28 thousand 986 votes.

Lotus blossomed for the first time even in Azam’s stronghold

BJP has registered victory for the first time in the by-election held in Rampur, which is called Azam Khan’s stronghold. In Rampur, BJP candidate Akash Saxena defeated Samajwadi Party candidate Asim Raza by 25,703 votes. Apart from this, RLD candidate Madan Bhaiya defeated BJP candidate Rajkumari Saini by 21,754 from Khatauli seat of UP.

BJP’s big victory in Bihar

Apart from this, BJP has got a big victory in Bihar’s Kudhani assembly seat, on this seat BJP’s Kedar Gupta has defeated the candidate of JDU and Grand Alliance by more than three and a half thousand votes. The special thing is that on one side there was BJP on this seat and on the other side JDU candidate had the support of more than 8 parties. Despite this, the candidate of the Grand Alliance had to face defeat.

BJP’s defeat in Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Rajasthan
