South African wicketkeeper batsman Quinton de Kock has been performing brilliantly in ODI cricket against India. De Kock also played a century against India in the Visakhapatnam ODI on 6 December (Saturday). De Kock scored 106 runs in 89 balls with the help of 8 fours and 6 sixes. This was the 23rd century of De Kock’s ODI international career. His seventh century was in One Day International against India.
Quinton De Kock has now jointly reached the first position in the list of wicketkeeper batsmen who have scored most centuries in One Day Internationals. De Kock equaled former Sri Lankan captain Kumar Sangakkara, who scored 23 centuries in ODI cricket as a wicket-keeper batsman.

Quinton de Kock has now become the wicket-keeper batsman who has scored the most centuries against any one team in One Day Internationals. De Kock has overtaken Australian legend Adam Gilchrist and Sri Lankan Kumar Sangakkara. Gilchrist had scored 6 ODI centuries against Sri Lanka as a wicketkeeper. Whereas Sangakkara scored the same number of centuries in One Day International as a wicket-keeper batsman against India.
