17 other workers who were hit by an avalanche near Mana in Chamoli, Uttarakhand were rescued on Saturday morning. He has been admitted to the army hospital. A total of 50 workers have been rescued so far. Please tell that four laborers have died in this accident.

On Saturday morning, the Chief Minister conducted an aerial survey of the scene and reviewed the ongoing relief and rescue operations in Joshimath. After inspecting the scene, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami went directly to the State Emergency Operations Center at USDMA and discussed the rescue operation with senior government officials.

CM Dhami said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji also took updates on the phone about the rescue campaign and has assured of all possible help. He said that Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Shri Rajnath Singh are also worried about safe clearance of workers and are taking regular updates. He thanked the Prime Minister, Home Minister and Defense Minister for the cooperation being provided by the Central Government.
Trying to trace 3 containers continues
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that relief and rescue teams have got success in removing the workers by tracing 5 containers. Due to excessive snow, 3 containers are not being traced. Efforts are being made on a war footing by the Army, ITBP to locate these containers. Army sniffer dogs have also been installed to search for containers.
The injured workers are being treated in the army hospital in Mana and Jyotirmath. Along with AIIMS Rishikesh and Srinagar Medical College, local CHC and PHC have been placed on alert mode. The Chief Minister said that there is excessive snowfall on the spot and snow is accumulated by 6 to 7 feet.
