Chhattisgarh government will give 2500 monthly unemployment allowance to the youth, announced in the budget

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel presented the budget for the next financial year in the assembly on Monday. Bhupesh Baghel has made many populist announcements in the budget in view of the assembly elections going to be held by the end of the year. The Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh has also announced unemployment allowance of Rs 2500 per month to the unemployed youth of 18 to 35 years.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, while presenting the budget in the Vidhansabha, said that the people of Chhattisgarh elected us four years ago and we proudly say that we have fulfilled the aspirations of the people. He said that farmers, women and youth, every section has been empowered. Bhupesh Baghel said that Narva Gadwa Badi has promoted the culture of our Chhattisgarh.

He announced the provision of unemployment allowance in the budget for the unemployed. Bhupesh Baghel said that unemployment allowance of Rs 2500 will be given every month to every unemployed youth of a family with an annual income of less than Rs 2.5 lakh. He also informed about increasing the honorarium of Anganwadi workers from Rs.6000 to Rs.10 thousand and increasing the honorarium of assistants from Rs.3550 to Rs.5000 in the budget.

CM Baghel also announced to give Rs 2200 for the treatment of mothers in the budget and said that the monthly allowance of village Patels has also been increased from Rs 2,000 to Rs 3,000. He also informed about increasing the grant amount from Rs 25,000 to Rs 50,000 under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana.

Announcement of running light metro from Nava Raipur to Durg

The Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh has also announced to run light metro from Nava Raipur to Durg in the budget. He has also said that 101 Naveen Swami Atmanand English medium schools will be opened in the state. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has also said that new medical colleges will be established in Manendragarh, Janjgir, Kawardha and Gidam. He also informed in the assembly that 107 lakh metric tonnes of paddy has been procured from 23 lakh farmers.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has given the gift of Holi to unemployed youth and farmers as well as home guards in the budget of the election year. CM Baghel has announced to increase the salary of home guards to Rs 6300-6420 in the budget. Chief Minister Baghel has allocated Rs 3238 crore for the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana in the budget. Under the Mukhyamantri Vriksha Sampada Yojana also, the government has made a provision of Rs 100 crore in the budget.
