Casualties ‘might have been prevented’ had pacts been followed, states MEA.
Accusing the Chinese soldiers of “trying to unilaterally change the status quo” in the Galwan valley, the Ministry of External Affairs stated the casualties “could have been prevented” had agreements made by military leaders over the previous week been followed by the Chinese side.
