A person from Lucknow was arrested on Saturday on the charge of cheating a scrap dealer of about one crore rupees in the name of providing iron scrap of old sugar mill machines. Police gave this information to a news agency. According to which, Lucknow resident Kamruddin allegedly cheated Ghaziabad city scrap dealer Naushad of Rs 1.5 crore in the name of providing iron scrap of old sugar mill machines.
Police arrested Kamruddin from Rajnagar Extension
Naushad had lodged an FIR in Nandagram police station regarding the fraud. After which the police was searching for him. On Saturday, the police arrested Kamruddin from Rajnagar Extension area on the basis of call records. During interrogation, he has admitted to cheating Naushad.

Kamruddin is wanted in 11 cases
Giving information in this regard, Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajesh Kumar Singh said that the accused was wanted in 11 cases of fraud of more than Rs 3 crore from scrap dealers of different districts of the state.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajesh Kumar Singh said that Kamruddin had introduced himself as the director of a firm. Naushad fell into his trap. After this, he told Naushad that he had got a contract to sell iron scrap of sugar mills. After which he made a deal with Naushad and absconded with the money.
