President Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social, “I am asking all airlines, pilots, drug dealers and human smugglers to consider the airspace over and around Venezuela completely closed.” After this statement, the already ongoing political conflict between the American and Venezuelan administrations has deepened.

Tension increases between America and Venezuela
