BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh politics went into turmoil on Tuesday with post-midnight reports of eight Congress-alliance MLAs being cooped up in a hotel in Manesar after allegedly being taken there by BJP.
Initial reports suggested that four of these MLAs are allies supporting the Kamal Nath government from outside. One of the Congress MLAs there is said to be close to the Digvijaya faction.
MP cabinet ministers Jitu Patwari and Jaivardhan Singh are already in Delhi on a firefight mission. Patwari told TOI that all the MLAs are with Congress, and that he is in the same hotel as them.
