Ex-naval authorities was “visibly under stress and indicated that plainly to the consular officers”, says New Delhi.

India had demanded that access should be without disturbance from Pakistani security officials but main spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs Anurag Srivastava stated the situations of the conference did not enable them to get Mr. Jadhav’s permission for legal representation.

” The consular officers were not offered unobstructed, unrestricted and genuine access to Shri Jadhav. On the contrary, Pakistani authorities, with a challenging manner, were present in close distance of Shri Jadhav and consular officers regardless of the protests of the Indian side.
