The death toll due to Covid-19 rose to 590 and the number of cases climbed to 18,601 in India, with 47 deaths and 1336 new cases reported in last 24 hours. Covid-19 cases mount to 18,601 in India, 590 deaths

With 1,336 new cases in last 24 hours, the total tally of COVID-19 cases stood at 18,601 on Tuesday morning, the Ministry of Health and Family welfare said. “At least 3,252 people have been cured and discharged from the hospital while one person has migrated,” said the ministry, adding that there are at least 77 foreign nationals, affected with the disease. Doctors in Telangana baffled as villagers with no contacts or travel test positive

Doctors posted in covid-19 wards in Hyderabad have confirmed a sharp jump in suspected cases coming from remote areas in the last 10 days, most landing at emergency departments. Officials in health department said it was becoming extremely difficult to collect information from relatives of positive cases as they were going to private hospitals initially and coming to government hospital in the final stages.
