The Union health ministry stated on Friday that less than 1.94 percent of the 3.42 lakh active Covid-19 cases in India are in ICU, 0.35 per cent on ventilator assistance and 2.81 percent are being offered oxygen, while the recovery rate has improved to 63.33 per cent.
The across the country positivity rate was 5%in between May 7-21 and 8.6%in the previous fortnight (June 19- July 2). Any figure above 5%is uneasy and shows that just serious patients are being evaluated.
The actual caseload of Covid-19 clients in the country is 3.31 lakh, or around a third (3418%)
