NEW DELHI: As India completes a month in lockdown, few states eased certain restrictions in less affected districts in an effort to restart economic activity in phases. However, the country witnessed a record jump of 1,752 cases bringing the total to 23,452 cases with the death toll at 723 including the 37 fatalities reported since Thursday evening. Meanwhile, Muslims across the world welcomed the holy month of Ramazan in a subdued manner.
